Ball bridging exercises are performed in a similar manner to bridging exercises on the ground.
With bridging, we always want to focus on slow, controlled movements.
We want to keep our waist level and avoid swaying or clunking motions.
The progression on the exercise bench was to keep our feet wide apart and slowly move them together.
Eventually, we could put one foot on top of the other, which increased the difficulty of the exercises.
By narrowing our foot width, we made ourselves more unstable, causing the core muscles to work harder.
Could I Feel Worse after the First Treatment?
We always like to warn people that sometimes you can feel worse after your first treatment.
Usually, when people first come into the office, their injuries are getting worse and they are going downhill.
They are having more muscle spasms, guarding, and pain.
On your first day, we go through an exam where we place stress and strain on the injured area.
We are also trying to increase movement within the injured joint complex.
We may try some exercises and stretches to help reduce the pain, but we are also trying to establish a baseline for your limited functional abilities.
Paws 2 Read is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that pairs registered animal therapy teams with young readers to help enhance their reading skills without any fear or judgment.
Children read to the animals without having to worry about messing up a word or being laughed at.
Children are greeted with warm hearts and wet noses as they embark on the journey of a great book.
These incredible animals make all the difference in a young child's outlook on reading and reading aloud.

If your dog is lacking in exercise and or play time, chances are they are seeking it out themselves.
You may be constantly coming home to torn up paper, shoes, or furniture.
Who knew exercise could help so much?
The key is to make sure they get at least 30 minutes of heart pounding exercise a day.
If running isn't an option, play organized games of fetch and tug of war that encourage your dog to exert more energy.
You can also make intervals of walking, running, sprinting, and turning around to make things fun for them and stimulate their brains.
Exercise your dog before taking them to the dog park.
If your dog has been cooped up with little to exercise all day and you take them to the park they are likely to be hyperactive and unstoppable.
Other dogs may not enjoy your dogs over abundance of energy running all over them.
Remove prong or choke collars, harnesses and leashes during play time.
Prong collars, choke chains, and harnesses can get in the of how dogs play.
If you leave them on, all the wrestling and nips can turn into small or deadly injuries.
