One CCSP class (no more than 10 percent of the hours of a 100-hour certification course) may be taken while the applicant is still an undergraduate.
As long as a certificant remains current with the requirements for the CCSP or DACBSP, they may use the marks.
If a certificant becomes inactive, use of the marks is prohibited.
All continuing education activities must be sports medicine or fitness related and directly related to patient care in order to be accepted by the ACBSP.
Philosophy, Practice Management and Technique courses are NOT accepted.
A legacy gift is a planned future gift that designates some part of an individual's estate as a donation to a non-profit organization.
Legacy gifts enable individuals to create a meaningful philanthropic legacy by making a direct impact on the causes important to them.
The ACBSP is a 501c6 organization which is a different designation for the Internal Revenue Service than a 501c3 organization.
The 501c6 organization is still considered a non-profit tax exempt organization.
These types of non-profit organizations are not used for "charitable" purposes, so gifts to them are not tax deductible to the donor.

Since 1980, the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) has led the development of sports medicine certification and has managed a world-class credentialing process that ensures certified sports chiropractors meet competency standards to effectively work with and treat athletes and those engaged in athletic activities.
The goal of a position paper is to convince the audience that your opinion is valid and worth listening to.
This is especially important for the sports chiropractic profession because so few people really know what sports chiropractors do and what they can do.
This is why sports chiropractors need to steadily build a base of information about different topics - to demonstrate their scope of interest and knowledge.
