The internet has allowed patients to become better educated consumers. To that end, this site contains research articles (pro and con), links to evidence based articles, and Gallup Poll information. Upon graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1981, I took over a struggling practice. My wife, Dara, (a Speech-Language Pathologist) was not employed at the time so she ran the front desk and we both learned and grew with the practice.
Things have worked out splendidly and we could not have made a better choice. Being a chiropractor is as much fun now as it was then. Patients are unique people with their own set of concerns. The repeating theme, however, is not the pain-it is the loss of function which the pain creates. Technology is the biggest difference between practicing now and in 1981.
Computers are used throughout the office from the front desk, to note taking, texting of appointment reminders and portions of the spinal exam (we have not yet taken the plunge to digital x-rays.)

Services
Every cell, organ and tissue of your body are controlled by your brain.
Messages for life and function begin in the brain, travel down the spine and out the nerves to all parts of the body.
Chiropractic produces results by helping the nervous system work the way it is designed to work.
The goal of chiropractic care is to adjust your spine to allow these genetic/innate life impulses to flow freely along the spine and nerves so that maximum health can be enjoyed.
Because nerves go EVERYWHERE in your body and your BRAIN controls EVERY function of your body, a pinched nerve can can cause symptoms and problems ANYWHERE in your body.

Chiropractic philosophy guides one to live by healthy principles and if you are going to teach health, you should be an example of it.

Many patients with musculoskeletal disorders have invariably tried the sequence of OTC medications, steroid injections, and then prescription opioid painkillers, but is this so called "relief" offered in medical offices an illusion?
Are you in the wrong office?
Since these drugs do not correct the underlying source of pain and are temporary at best, with serious and dangerous side effects, is there a better option?
Are you embracing the easy solution of treating the pain through prescription use?
