At Kalamazoo Chiropractic & Rehabilitation we believe every human has the right to live a healthy pain free life. Our mission is to provide the tools and education necessary to improve the health and wellbeing of the entire southwest Michigan area. By using the most up to date, evidence-based treatments we will help you take your health back. Dr. Kopp is originally from the suburbs of Chicago.
He then attended Western Michigan University where he fell in love with the Kalamazoo area. After obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he moved back to Chicago to attend National University of Health Sciences where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Having grown up playing multiple sports, he sustained multiple injuries. While attending WMU he had a back injury that had him almost bed ridden for 6 weeks.
He had been to multiple PTs and Chiropractors with minimal relief. At this moment he realized there had to be a better way to treat injuries and get out of pain. While in chiropractic school, he attended over 700 hours of continuing education.

Services
We use chiropractic manipulation to facilitate better movement in a joint.
When a joint becomes restricted or stuck, other areas must pick up the slack of that joint leading to excessive or unstable motion.
If you choose not to be manipulated, we can also do joint mobilization.
Joint mobilization is a gentle technique that does not result in a cavitation (cracking noise) but can achieve similar results.
DNS gives us an ideal movement strategy that we can strive for.
DNS is modeled on the development of babies from 0 days of life to 3 years old.

At your first exam your doctor will have an in depth conversation about the reason you came to see us.
This conversation will include, but is not limited to, your current and past medical history, what your current and future goals are, and your current activity levels and hobbies.
After this conversation, your doctor will take you through a detailed physical exam that is specific to your case.
Much of this physical exam will be taking you through movements that will assess all joints and soft tissues of your body.
