I am not overstating this: Dr. Axman changed my life for the better.
I have always been a very active person.
I love to play sports, especially basketball.
About 14 years ago I herniated a disk in my lower back.
I believe that lower back injuries are just about the worst injuries you can suffer.
I really could not do anything.
Walking, standing, and even sitting were extremely painful.
When my back went out, I was basically useless for about a week and very limited for another week.
I went to an orthopedist, got diagnosed and was prescribed physical therapy.
Many of our Hamden, CT patients have questions about why they're in so much pain after a car crash.
If you're suffering from chronic pain caused by a car crash, you're not alone.
We see a lot of patients in our Hamden, CT office who come to us after suffering for years after a crash.
Chronic pain after a collision is pretty simple: the delicate ligaments and nerves in your neck and back are easily injured in even minor collisions.
If these injuries aren't treated promptly (by actually solving the root problem), the damaged tissues develop scar tissue and lose mobility, resulting in loss of function and pain.
Whether you're looking for relief from severe chronic pain, searching for ways to beat the aches and pains of day-to-day living, or seeking a level of optimal health and peak performance, you've come to the right place.
We are committed to providing first-class health care through natural chiropractic treatment and acupuncture.
We are passionate about your wellness on a structural, nutritional and emotional level.
New Patient Intake Form - We recognize that your time is valuable and so we have simplified and expedited the intake process for new patients.
If you're in pain, there are some simple exercises and stretches that might be helpful in your recovery.
We've created a video library for your use.
