Whether it's a new injury or an old injury, our laser can help your body heal itself.
Our deep tissue laser provides a high power laser beam of light that stimulates the cells of the injured tissue (whether chronic or new injury).
This stimulation allows the cell to produce more energy to bring in more nutrients to heal itself.
When the cells are allowed to heal, the pain and inflammation will go away.
If you suffer from neck pain and/or headaches, here are a few stretches that can help to give you a little relief until you can make it into our office for treatment of the problem causing your pain.
The best method to stretch this muscle is to stabilize the shoulder blade in an upwardly postion by placing the palm of one hand between the shoulder blades.
Put your hand up over your shoulder and bring your elbow back, pointing your elbow up to the ceiling.
Tension in this muscle can be a common source of pain in those that have prolonged forward postures.
If you're suffering from low back pain or having pain into your legs, here are a few stretches that can help give you some relief until you can make it into our office for treatment of the problem causing your pain.
When stretching, you should never stretch to the point of pain, force a movement or bounce.
Only stretch to the first point of tension.
As you lay there you will notice there is likely a space between your lower back and the floor.
Tighten your abdominal muscles by pulling your naval in and lifting your tail bone up.
Simply put, its pain/inflammation in the plantar fascia or muscles and tendons of the foot.
Generally this is caused firstly by the heel moving slightly out of place.
When the heel slips out of place it will pull on the muscles and tendons which over time irritates that tissue causing it to become inflammed and painful.
To fix this problem, the doctor will realign the bones in the foot to reestablish proper function.
We can also perform deep tissue laser therapy on the tissue to reduce the pain and inflammation to allow the body to heal itself.
