A practice designed to get results rapidly, Pittsburgh Chiropractic & Massage Therapy Center works effectively to resolve what hurts or limits your ability to perform. Whether it's your knee, back or shoulder, we have a solution to your condition. At a time when healthcare costs are mostly paid for by patients our treatments also come at an extremely cost-effective rate compared to our peers and traditional medical treatment.
This has been documented by UPMC Health Plan, United Healthcare and Optum Health. These are not small differences. The average low back pain patient spends over 50% less on treatment from the start to resolution of symptoms in our office vs. your PCP or physical therapy office. No matter how chronic or acute your condition, by incorporating chiropractic, manual therapy and rehabilitation to address the issue most everyone see's immediate results.
When incorporating lifestyle advice to keep the problem from returning most also see long lasting results as well. If you don't care to make changes or they are unnecessary due to the nature of the injury we will treat you through your episodes to get you back to what you love, or just work.

I have been a chiropractic patient since I was 3 years old.
My younger sister was undergoing chiropractic treatment for an issue my parents did not want to treat medically when the chiropractor pointed out something abnormal about the way I walked.
I continued to be adjusted throughout my childhood, although it was not until I began dealing with a sport-related shoulder injury that I understood how important chiropractic actually was to me.
The idea of helping people get better while also treating the underlying cause of their pain really spoke to me.

Following graduation from The University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's Degree in science, I went on to attend Western States Chiropractic College in Portland OR for my doctorate in 2002.
This education gave me a very strong foundation in the principles of chiropractic as well as conventional medicine as it is practiced today.
Understanding both processes is critical in effective patient care.
We must identify what is wrong, so we can begin the process of healing and correction this is when our education and experience is critical!

Today I am a Pennsylvania Licensed Massage Therapist who has practiced massage in the downtown and surrounding Pittsburgh area for more than 20yrs.

You know that your body is controlled by your brain, but the spinal cord and vast network of nerves that carry its messages are just as important.
When this system is not functioning at its peak, your body's overall performance suffers.
In the chiropractic world, we don't use drugs to treat our patients.
While supplementation and nutrition are almost always a part of the bigger picture, drugs and prescriptions can be viewed as bandaids to treat symptoms rather than treating the source of the problem.
