Dr. Waggener has been working in the field of therapeutic massage/bodywork and chiropractic for 27 years. She attended The Boulder School of Massage Therapy in 1981, moving to California in 1983 to study Lomi Body Work (body/mind based therapy) in Marin County. During this time she began studying with Dr. Tom Hendrickson, a chiropractor in Kensington.
Dr. Hendrickson is the founder of The Hendrickson Method of Massage Therapy and the author of "Massage for Orthopedic Conditions". This association led to an increased awareness of the benefits of chiropractic in combination with massage. Dr. Waggener began studies at Life West Chiropractic College in 1991, graduating in 1994, and has been in chiropractic practice in Albany and Kensington continuously for the past 25 years.
