At NeuroTarget Chiropractic we use the NeuroTarget System as well as other modalities to find and resolve the cause of your injury. The NeuroTarget System was developed by Dr. John Pietila in 2006. Dr. John graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 2002. At that time he was already using muscle testing, but didn't fully understand how it worked.
He also learned early on in his practice that sometimes an adjustment helps a lot and other times it doesn't help or even makes the patient worse. In his search for answers he stumbled into functional neurology. Even at the very first seminar he learned not only how muscle testing worked, but also how an adjustment of the spine affects the nervous system and the body.
Dr. John continued his education in neurology and eventually earned his Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB). By this time he was well on his way of looking at chiropractic techniques and procedures and understanding the neurological implications.

Services
The NeuroTarget System is a special blend of Chiropractic, Functional Neurology, Kinesiology, and several other therapeutic techniques to observe, interpret, and subsequently affect the brain-body relationship.
The technique was developed and is based off of the principal that the brain controls and receives feedback from all aspects of our body.
When there is dysfunction in the brain it will manifest as dysfunction in the body, and the reverse is also true.
In our office, some common examples of dysfunction in the body would be a tight muscle, vertebral misalignment, or joint pain.
