Services
When you visit our office, Dr. Newman will ask you about your chief concern or primary health problem.
We will also ask about your family history, dietary habits, other health care you may have had (chiropractic, osteopathic, medical, dental, etc.), your job, and other questions designed to help us determine the nature of your illness and the best way to treat the cause of the problem.
A clinical examination will be performed in accordance with Dr. Newman's judgment, which may include a physical exam, x-rays, laboratory analysis, and other diagnostic procedures as deemed necessary.
Dr. Michael P. Newman has been a practicing chiropractic physician and FCA member in Miami for the past 40 years.
In addition to earning his B.S. in Biology (1976) and Doctor of Chiropractic (1978) degrees from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, Dr. Newman also holds certifications in Massage Therapy (1974) and Acupuncture-Meridian Therapy (1984).
As the practice has grown, Dr. Newman has treated numerous celebrities: the cast of Miami Vice, multiple athletics groups, Momentum Dance Company and the FIU Dance Department.
Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health.
Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.
Doctors of Chiropractic - often referred to as chiropractors or chiropractic physicians - practice a drug-free, hands-on approach to health care that includes patient examination, diagnosis, and treatment.
The goal of laser therapy is to deliver light energy units from infrared laser radiation, called photons, to damaged cells.
The consensus of experts is that photons absorbed by the cells through laser therapy stimulate the mitochondria to accelerate production of ATP.
This biochemical increase in cell energy is used to transform live cells from a state of illness to a stable, healthy state.
Over 4000 studies have been conducted to validate the effectiveness of laser therapy.
Faster Wound Healing - Laser light stimulates fibroblast development and accelerates collagen synthesis in damaged tissue.
While maintaining a balanced diet and taking multivitamins are great ways to be healthier, they're not enough to achieve optimal nutritional balance.
Without this balance, you might feel tired, stressed, or even a bit depressed.
You might get sick more often due to your immune system not being in the best shape.
You may even experience other symptoms that harm your overall wellbeing.
With SpectraCell's micronutrient testing, you can accurately assess what your body needs, and what your diet is failing to provide.
