Years later, hoping to find a stable second career that would fit well with the theater and his family life, he enrolled at Sister Rosalind Gefre's School of Massage and Bodywork.
He graduated in 2004 and has spent the past 15 years providing massage in diverse settings: in chiropractic clinics working alongside doctors of chiropractic and of physical therapy, in an alternative health environment treating people with terminal illness and their loved ones, and serving as the massage therapist for a professional theater company.
