People suffering from TMJ or jaw pain condition can lead to chronic inflammation issue of the body.
From clenching or grinding teeth at night, chewing food, impact to the jaw, and even yawning can over time lead to a misalignment of the jaw joint known as a TMJ or jaw problem.
Chiropractic treatment of sciatica is not unusual.
Sciatica is characterized by pain that originates in the low back or buttock that travels into one or both legs.
Sciatic nerve pain varies in intensity and frequency.
Sciatic pain is described as dull, achy, sharp, toothache-like, pins and needles or similar to electric shocks.
More symptoms associated with sciatica include burning, numbness and tingling sensations.
Sciatica can also called radiating or referred pain, neuropathy, or neuralgia.
Sciatica is not a disorder in itself, it is a symptom of a disorder.
In treating bulging, ruptured, or herniated Disc (slipped discs), most spine experts agree that conservative care (non-surgical and drug-free) should be considered, except in severe cases.
Chiropractic care has a long history of successfully providing conservative care for disc conditions.
The disc is a circle of cartilage between each vertebra in the spine that acts as both a shock absorber and a shock distributor.
Without discs, the spine simply could not function.
Discs are made up of concentric circles or rings of fibrous material with a tough gelatinous center.
Headaches can be caused by a number of factors.
Many headaches can be traced to neck, jaw (TMJ) or cranial bone (head) misalignment causing stress to the nerves, which in turn affect blood flow.
When the bones of the spine or head lose their normal position or motion ("chiropractic subluxation" or misalignment), the sensitive nerves and blood vessels to the head become compromised.
When these delicate tissues are irritated, they can produce certain types of headaches.
These headaches can make it difficult to think clearly and function.
Neck pain can range from being mild and annoying to being unbearable and incapacitating to a point the person cannot function.
Symptoms can also included stiffness, difficulty turning or moving your head in different directions, pain or muscle spasm in the neck area, headaches, TMJ (jaw) problems, muscle weakness or even carpal tunnel problems.
Most instances of neck pain (and stiffness) are minor and commonly caused by sudden injury such as an auto accidents that cause "whiplash" injury of the neck area or chronic bad posture position such as keeping your head or neck in an awkward, twisted position for too long causing the neck joints to "lock up".
