Medical massage is our thing. Our massage therapists focus on deep tissue and muscle specific massage - it hurts so good. Many people live with chronic pain and the main culprit is muscle tension. The key though is finding out which muscles are doing it, and at Chiro Cleveland, we are muscle experts - trained at relaxing muscles that are causing the pain.
Each massage therapist here is licensed in the state of Ohio and went through additional training for medical massage. We keep it simple. Our doctor adjusts the whole spine, the arms and legs, the Y-Strap for the neck, and then finishes each treatment with a 15 minute muscle treatment (Trigger Point Therapy). No gimmicks and no electronic equipment, just treatment.
For most people, they come once a week for 4 weeks to get out of pain, then follow up as needed. Short treatment plans and no medical insurance - we think up front costs are the best way to go.

At Chiro Cleveland we believe that muscle tension is the cause of most painful conditions.
Whether its neck pain, back pain, headaches, jaw pain, or pain around the joints of the arms and legs, there is most likely some component of muscle tension that is causing the pain.
Because there can be a host of other medical conditions that cause pain, our patients are first examined by the doctor to rule out anything that is more serious.
In the vast majority of cases, the cause of pain is a specific primary muscle.

What is the cause of pain?
For most people, it's caused by their tight muscles from years of having poor posture, but poor posture is caused by the years of sitting that the vast majority of Americans have spent their lives doing.
This constant sitting started when we were kids in the classroom and carries into adulthood as we continue to sit while working at our desk jobs.
Just think about it -- we have been sitting for 8-12 hours a day since kindergarten, but the body was designed to MOVE for 8-12 hours a day.

You can expect a warm and inviting environment at Chiro Cleveland.
That's because we are a family owned and operated clinic that focuses on getting our patients better as soon as possible.
The first step is to have a detailed examination to find the cause of your condition.
Sometimes X-rays or MRIs are needed, but for most people the painful condition is diagnosed by examining their posture when they stand, sit, squat, walk and bend over to pick something up.
We make these movements hundreds of times a day so if we are not moving correctly then the muscle tension builds throughout the years, until the brain sends off the warning sign - PAIN.

What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a safe and effective way to treat a variety of injuries, aches and pains.
Most commonly, we see people with neck and back conditions.
However, chiropractors are muscloskeletal doctors that are very effective at treating any part of the body that has a joint; such as shoulders, knees, ankles and wrists.
What can I expect when I come for treatment?
At Chiro Cleveland, we do things differently than most other chiropractic clinics.
We focus on first bringing relief from pain through massage, stretching and chiropractic adjustment.
