Posture and Poise is a wellness clinic focused on treating patients of any age, from children to elderly with a special focus on pregnant, post-partum parents and children. Our practice is located in Lakewood, Ohio. Our staff is comprised of one graduate of New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Allison Workman. We offer well-rounded, holistic, and non-invasive care.
Care consists of gentle hands on treatment to analyze musculoskeletal disorders, nutritional imbalances, and thoughtful consideration of rehabilitation exercises to implement as patient self-care. We strive to communicate and work well with the surrounding health care professionals, as well as other alternative care providers to bring the utmost patient centered care possible.

Dr. Allison Workman grew up in Andover, OH and graduated from Pymatuning Valley High School.
She then earned her bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Kent State University.
Next, she traveled to New York Chiropractic College located in the small town of Seneca Falls, NY and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in November of 2019.
While in school she took a particular interest in pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic, and even gave birth to her son in her last year of chiropractic school!

Your first visit will take approximately 60 minutes.
Dr. Workman will begin with taking a comprehensive history of your complaint(s), along with musculoskeletal and neurological exams, followed by diagnosis and treatment based on your needs.
Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes long, and during your visit your complaint will be re-assessed and treated.
In addition, if out of network chiropractic services are covered by your current policy, we can provide you with receipts of your treatments called a "Superbill."
