Services
One of the main causes of pain and disease in the human body can be traced to improper alignment of the vertebrae in your spinal column.
This is called a subluxation.
Through carefully applied pressure, massage, and manual manipulation of the vertebrae and joints, pressure and irritation on the nerves is relieved and joint mobility is restored, allowing your body to return to its natural state of balance, called homeostasis.
Put another way, when the bones in your spine are allowed to go back to their proper positions, the nerve energy can resume its normal flow and your body's natural healing processes can function properly.
The nerves that come from the brain go into the spinal column and exit out between spinal bones.
When the bones get out of position they pinch spinal nerves.
This is called a subluxation.
Every cell, tissue and organ in our body is controlled by nerves.
Most of the nerves that go to the body pass through the spine.
When the nerves get pinched, we have interrupted communication between the brain and the body.
I have found by personal experience and research that neurology has a tremendous influence on biology.
Dr. Todd N. Grant DC is a Utah native.
He is the fifth chiropractic physician in his family.
After serving a mission for the LDS church in London, Dr. Grant started undergraduate studies in pre-medicine in Utah where he earned academic honors.
He then earned his Bachelor's degree in human biology in Los Angeles.
In 1990, Dr. Grant earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (now part of the Southern California University Health Sciences).
Dr. Grant has invested 8 years in education to become a Chiropractic Physician.
There are 4 generations of Chiropractors in my family and I am the 5th Chiropractic Physician of that group.
It all started with James M. Grant, my grandfather, who suffered with cluster migraine headaches.
At the time, Grandfather was living in Manti, Utah.
He was in the insurance industry.
The story goes that he consulted a Chiropractor, I believe it was Dr. Ben Johnson.
I'm not sure if Dr. Johnson bought any insurance from Grandfather but I do know that Grandfather Grant totally bought into Chiropractic after seeing the results for himself.
Very thorough exam and analysis of my back.
Was impressed with how he expressed a desire to assist me with staying active and doing the things I enjoy.
Adjustments were tailored to my specific issues, exercises and therapy were assigned and given to aid in my recovery.
Have seen great results as a result of my treatment and hard work.
I highly recommend Dr. Grant.
Grant is a phenomenal chiropractor who really takes care of his patients and really listens to them.
He always gives you the best care and really cares about each one of his patients and their issues.
