Chiropractic science is based in the fundamental principle of Anatomy and Physiology that the nervous system is the master control center of the entire body. Find out more about the science behind chiropractic. Chiropractic uses manipulation of joints and muscles to relieve pain and take pressure off of irritated nerves that cause pain near the spine, sciatica down the leg or tingling and pain into the arm.

Our gentle chiropractic treatments are ideal for patients in the most severe acute pain, and our focus on reestablishing new healthier patterns of movement can relieve chronic pain conditions that are years or even decades in the making.

Robert graduated from Colorado State University in 1974 and then graduated cum laude from the National College of Chiropractic in 1978.
Since that time he has been practicing in Denver, developing and honing our unique non-thrusting mobilization technique focused on correction of spinal related nerve, muscle and joint problems.
He was on the board of directors of the Colorado Chiropractic Association from 1994-2001 and served as president in 2000.
In 1999 he served on the Colorado Workers Compensation Chronic Pain Task Force.
Our doctors combine gentle specific chiropractic mobilization, ultrasound and soft tissue manipulation to help restore proper alignment and relax surrounding muscles to relieve swelling and pressure on nerves, soothing aches and pains.
The most common therapeutic procedures performed by our chiropractors is spinal mobilization (chiropractic adjustment).
The purpose of the chiropractic adjustment is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become restricted in their movement as a result of a tissue injury.
Our doctors have over 60 years combined experience successfully treating neck and back pain, but we also have successfully treated patients with chronic headaches, sciatica, temporomandibular joint pain, and more.
Our gentle chiropractic treatments are ideal for patients in the most severe acute pain, and our focus on reestablishing new healthier patterns of movement can relieve chronic pain conditions that are years or even decades in the making.
Recent medical reviews by the Journal of the American Medical Association and Consumer Reports found that chiropractic spinal manipulation is just as effective as pain medications and that it was safer too.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment to allow time to complete some brief paperwork that will provide important information for the doctors about your medical history.
One of the most important parts of your visit is consultation, where you and one of our doctors will discuss the pain or discomfort you are feeling, talk about your medical history, explore how and why the current situation may have started, and discuss how your condition has progressed.
All of this information is important to help our doctors determine the best steps to alleviate your pain, and identify an individualized treatment plan.
During Marla's cancer treatment, the doctors said her tongue must be amputated for her to live.
She had steadfastly refused because she wanted to be able to eat when she was cured.
Marla wanted to know if there was anything we could do to get her sister out of her pain and back to living again, instead of just surviving.
Although we can reduce pain and return patients to living full lives, the problems we deal with relate to the nerves, muscles, and bones.
Low back pain due to disc problems are quite fixable, as are headaches, shoulder pain, and knee issues that we see every day.
