Services
Chiropractic is most commonly associated with neck, mid-back, and lower back pain, but it is so much more than that.
Chiropractic is used to help restore normal function to the nervous system and is the foundation for musculoskeletal injuries.
If a misalignment of one of your spinal bones (subluxation) occurs, there can be an obstruction of communication between the spinal cord and the nerves that branch off of it.
Chiropractic adjustments can restore the nerve's function so communication can continue without interference.
Sacro-Occipital Technique is a method used to adjust patterns in the body that correct the Cranium, Pelvis, Extremities, and Organs.
When using SOT, each individual adjustment has a signal that indicates where to adjust.
For example, muscle tension at the knee may indicate the pelvis needs correction, and connective tissue fibers at the base of the skull indicate different vertebra in the back or spine may be in need of an adjustment.
Your adjustment may change with each visit, listening to the indicators from your body.
TMJ stands for the Temporo-Mandibular Joint, an important joint formed by your skull and your jawbone.
It uses the muscles needed for you to open and close your mouth and acts as a sliding hinge that allows for side-to-side movement.
A disc of cartilage separates the bones of the joint to keep your jaw movement smooth.
With the TMJ connected to the spinal system, you can have your TMJ aligned and monitored through chiropractic support to ensure that pressure is being alleviated from your face, head, and teeth.
Kinesio Taping is a therapeutic procedure facilitating the body's natural healing process while providing support and stability to the muscles and joints.
Unlike athletic tape, it does not restrict the body's range of motion.
Kinesio Taping also provides extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of chiropractic adjustments and aids in the reduction of swelling, pain, and muscle spasms.
