At Baker Chiropractic and Massage, we have two goals for you: to get out of pain and improve your overall function. With more than 40 years in practice, Bellingham Chiropractor Dr. Robert Baker is privileged to have served numerous families and individuals in our area. We even care for multiple generations of the same families, seeing children, adults and grandparents alike.
Having been a part of our community for so long means that most of our patients find us through word of mouth. There's no greater compliment than someone coming to see us because they've heard about the incredible results a friend, colleague or relative got from our care! Most people come to our office because they're in pain and want to know what we can do to help them feel better.
As you progress through care, you'll begin to feel better and notice that your body seems to be working at a higher level than ever before. Dr. Baker has been through his own health struggles, including a waterskiing accident and motor vehicle accident.

There are five ranges your neck is taken through when you're in an accident.
It gets stretched and begins to compress.
You move forward, and the seatbelt comes into effect.
Your neck then goes forward, stretches again, and then finally returns to the neutral position.

We recommend massage in combination with your chiropractic care.
While chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the spine and its impact on the nervous system, massage focuses on the 650 muscles of the body.
Both disciplines work together to help keep the body in proper alignment, balance and function.
Long-standing spinal problems are accompanied by ingrained muscle patterns.
Muscle spasms and scar tissue are often involved.
By augmenting your chiropractic care with massage therapy, these muscle and soft tissue problems can be addressed.
