I was born and raised on a farm in Osage, Iowa where I enjoyed sports.
When it was time to go off to college I had my mind on something in the healthcare field but wasn't sure.
After spending some time shadowing different healthcare professionals I really connected with the theory and opportunities of Chiropractic.
I graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa while playing college volleyball.
Later I would graduate Salutatorian with Honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2009.

My husband, Jon, and I live in Coon Rapids with our two children, Cole and Emma, who attend school at Coon Rapids-Bayard.
When we're not running the kids to all they're involved in I enjoy walking, working on house and yard projects, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with friends & family.
I joined Lewis Chiropractic in January of 2019, and am a certified chiropractic assistant trained in both active and passive care therapies.
Working with Dr. Lewis and watching her improve the lives of so many is a great joy.

Chiropractic is a form of health care that emphasizes prevention and conservative treatment of conditions without drugs or surgery.
Chiropractors treat the spine to restore optimal functioning of the nervous system.
The nervous system is responsible for everything in our body.
It controls our muscles, reflexes, reactions, digestion, and immunity.
When a vertebrae of the spine is not in alignment, a disconnect in communication is created between and body and the brain.
Our brain responds to this disconnect by creating symptoms such as pain, altered sensation, dizziness, and headaches to name just a few.

Kids of all ages can benefit greatly from chiropractic adjustments.
Kids have nervous systems that can be impacted just like adults, and they often have more injuries than adults as they learn about their bodies.
At the same time kids are learning and growing, their nervous system is developing rapidly and is most responsive to spinal adjustments.
Adjustments can help maintain healthy children from birth into adulthood.
More and more research is being performed and some suggests chiropractic care can be effective in helping cases of colic, digestive problems, ear infections, reflux, excessive crying, constipation, sleep disturbance, and bed wedding.
