Dr. Stu has worked with every member of my family, repairing and preventing injury for the past several years.

Text neck (Sometimes referred to as Tech-Neck) is really a thing!
Bones and muscles will adapt to the forces applied to it.
Forward head posture distorts the natural curves of the spine.
This can be seen down the kinetic chain with rounded shoulders and a kyphotic middle back.
Poor posture also shortens and strains the neck and back musculature.
As a result, some muscles will be overworked and movements will become inefficient.
The best thing that you can do is be more aware of forward head carriage and posture altogether.
After filling out some brief paperwork, we begin your first visit with a consultation.
Dr. Stuart Weitzman will meet with you to determine if your problem is a case that he can help you with.
If not, he will refer you to the appropriate health care professional.
If he accepts your case for care, we then go over your health history and your condition together to get the whole picture.
Dr. Weitzman will give you an orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic examination.
Depending on your history and what we may find in the exam, Dr. Stuart Weitzman may take or refer you for imaging, of your spine or relevant areas to confirm exam findings, check the structure for misalignment, and to help determine approximately how long the problem has been there.
During this phase of care, we will address your symptoms or health issues that brought you to the office.
They should be significantly reduced or nearly gone by the end of this phase of care, if the care plan is followed accordingly.
This phase of care is the most frequent, most costly, and the most important for starting out on a good foundation.
Your care plan is based on your exam findings, history, condition, age, and lifestyle and should attend a new patient orientation/healthcare class.
There will be a progress evaluation after this phase to update the condition and to make any changes to your care.
