Here at Balanced Chiropractic and Wellness, we believe there are 3 important things that must happen in order to get from pain and discomfort to wellness; Communication, Examination, and Treatment.
Of these, we feel the examination is of the utmost importance.
The examination is the road map we use to find the contributing factors to a patient's complaint and also helps us dictate which treatments are the most appropriate for each individual.
What we also love about our examination is that it helps shorten treatment times, and gets you back to doing what you love faster!
At Balanced Chiropractic + Wellness the consultation begins when you arrive, and begin filling out your paperwork.
This is an important step in the process that will guide the examination in finding out what the true cause(s) of your problem are.
A consultation, should you have questions about us or the process, can always be scheduled as a complimentary service to you.
If an examination is not warranted after our conversation, you won't owe us a thing.
At Balanced Chiropractic + Wellness this is our favorite part of the process and we think it will be your's also!
In our office we typically use manual adjusting (with our hands) techniques that we were trained in at Palmer.
With that being said, we also want our patients to have an enjoyable, stress-free experience, so we got more training in instrument adjusting (Activator) for those patients who prefer it or need it.
In earlier sections, we shed some light on the joint by joint approach that we take in our office (foot needs to be stable, ankle mobile, and so on).
With the foot being the very first joint to come in contact with the ground or surface you are walking, jogging, or running on, it becomes a very important joint biomechanically.
