While at Palmer, he was nominated for the Clinical Excellence Award for his "quality of patient care, leadership potential, knowledge, skills, and service to his patients, the College, and the chiropractic profession."
He also had the opportunity to travel to Fiji and provide chiropractic care to the people of Fiji.
Prior to Palmer, he completed his undergraduate studies at Wartburg College.
In February of 2015, he opened Graettinger Chiropractic Clinic.
