Services
Satterwhite Chiropractic is committed to helping you regain and then maintain your quality of life, devoid of spine and extremity pain.
We offer specific protocols for spinal pain relief that are well-researched, well-documented, repeatedly-published and clinically-effective: Cox Technic Flexion-Distraction and Decompression Adjusting Manipulation.
The protocols were started 48 years ago by Dr. James M. Cox in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Cox Technic protocols have evolved as clinical application demands and research studies dictate.
Arm pain.
At Satterwhite Chiropractic, we understand you're suffering.
And we know that, if you're like many in Oxford, you've searched everywhere for some kind of permanent relief.
After helping several Oxford residents be relieved of back, leg, neck, or arm pain, we hope we can help you, too.
Our goal is to improve the quality of your life, and our Cox Technic chiropractic treatment is the best solution to make that happen.
We are chiropractic specialists in back manipulation which takes at least seven years of medical training to achieve.
You play an essential roll in determining what is causing your pain during the diagnosis process.
This diagnosis process is the building block on which your care is administered.
If the diagnosis isn't right, the treatment plan won't be right, and the pain relief you are seeking won't come as swiftly.
Throughout the examination process, you will give a brief overview of your pain's history as well as past and present symptoms.
You will discuss any family history of those in your family who may suffer with back pain, as well.
If you've dealt with your spine pain condition long enough, you probably have had more than your fair share of MRIs, X-rays, pills, shots, injections, doctors, diagnoses.
So begin with your known diagnosis or diagnoses - what you have been advised is wrong with you - to understand the condition more fully.
Even if you have a combination of conditions, you don't need to worry.
Cox Technic protocols address spine pain conditions in the safest and mildest means possible.

The spine is composed of many parts that function together to allow you to move.and a whole lot of other things!
Let's focus on movement for now.
The vertebrae are the bony segments of your spine.
They are joined to each other throughout the spine by "articulations" that allow smooth movement between the bones.
The round part of the vertebra is called the "body" and the pointy part to the back is the "spinous process."
Within each section, there are a number of bones named for their number in the segment: 7 cervical vertebrae (C1-C7), 12 thoracic vertebrae (T1-T12), 5 lumbar vertebrae (L1-L5), 1 sacrum made of 5 fused vertebrae, 1 coccyx made of 4 fused coccygeal vertebrae.
