At Johnson Chiropractic, we understand that in order for your body to be healthy, you need a high functioning nervous system. We can accomplish this through spinal adjustments. We also recognize the importance of brainwave regulation which can be accomplished using neurofeedback. Please take advantage of all the information provided and contact us personally if we can offer specific information suited to your healthcare needs.

Remember, we are here because CHIROPRACTIC AND NEUROFEEDBACK WORK! Resolution of Colitis, Breastfeeding Issues and Multiple Health Problems in Infant Under Chiropractic. In this study, the authors begin by giving an overview of the purpose of chiropractic. The purpose of chiropractic is to help patients, families, and communities express their innate human potential.

Doctors of Chiropractic help patients realize this by establishing an optimal neural connection. Published in the volume 3 issue of the 2020 Journal of Contemporary Chiropractic are the results of a case study showing the resolution of migraine headaches in a chiropractic patient who had previously had Harrington rods surgically implanted into her spine.

I am Dr. James Johnson D. C. I grew up in Douglas, Wyoming and attended the University of Wyoming before transferring to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa, where I completed my Bachelors of Science as well as Doctor of Chiropractic Degrees.
I moved to the beautiful town of Buffalo and opened up my chiropractic office in 2001.
In the fall of 2016, I incorporated BrainCore Neurofeedback into the practice as another tool to help patients realize their optimal health.
I want to share chiropractic and neurofeedback so people can realize their full potential and live life to the fullest with less dependence on prescription medication and surgery.
In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a.
Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves.
Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine.
This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
How does this affect you?
Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation.
A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."
When a subluxation occurs it causes nerve interference in some portion of the body affected by those nerves.
The subluxation causes changes to the structure as well as the nerves.
These changes get progressively worse as time is allowed to work on the subluxated area of the spine.
Below are some of the foremost experts in chiropractic who have taken the time to answer some of the more common questions.
Author: Dr. Christopher J. Colloca Description: Dr. Colloca explains how chiropractic adjustments specifically and scientifically correct spinal subluxations.
Author: Dr. Tom Deters Description: In this short video, Dr. Deters explains how a chiropractor is and integral part of a fitness regime that can raise your level of overall fitness to its highest potential.
Author: Dr. Eric Plasker Description: Dr. Plasker explains why families should get a chiropractic check-up, and how regular chiropractic care can benefit your entire family's health.
Chiropractors do not claim to treat infectious diseases.
What chiropractic does is allow your body to function free of nerve system interference and closer to your full potential.
Understanding the spread of infectious disease and how best to defend yourself can lessen the fear as well as your chances of being impacted by infectious pathogens.
There are generally two types of defenses to viruses and pathogens.
One is external and the other is internal.
An external defense is something you can do to lessen your chances of being infected, or if infected, decrease the severity of the event.
