Lakeland Chiropractic
Our purpose is to help people restore their health naturally and to protect the health of future generations. As a family with four generations currently under chiropractic care, we have seen chiropractic improve people's health in a safe and effective manner countless times. Our family has served Pinckney, Hamburg, Whitmore Lake and surrounding communities since Dr. Ken Schultz opened Lakeland Chiropractic over thirty years ago.

Dr. Doug Schultz joined the practice nearly twenty years ago, making Lakeland Chiropractic a true family practice! We are thankful that many of the wonderful families we have been privileged to serve during these years now seem like family as well! We love helping people integrate chiropractic into their lives to help patients regain and optimize their health naturally.

Lakeland Chiropractic has the resources available to accommodate a wide variety of health care needs. Chiropractic adjustments have a proven track record for relieving ear infections, migraines, back and neck pain, sciatica, and improving overall energy and health.
Services
Lakeland Chiropractic has been delivering quality chiropractic care to southeastern Livingston County since 1984.
That's 30 years of exceptional service!
During that time, there's one thing we've seen proven again and again: Chiropractic works!
We've also witnessed a tremendous integration of chiropractic into the healthcare paradigm.
Chiropractic offers a well-proven and safe method of enhancing the body's ability to adapt and to maintain normal function.
We are a family - and that family mindset permeates everything we do.
Dr. Doug grew up seeing that chiropractic works.
He watched his parents sacrifice so his Dad could make chiropractic his second profession.
He has benefited from regular adjustments throughout most of his life, and he chose to practice chiropractic because he wanted to offer that same gift of health to others.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University, and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic.
Since then, he and his wife and have been blessed enough to see their five children benefit from regular chiropractic care.
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference.
The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience.
After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up "stuck" spinal joints.
Thompson Terminal Point technique is a system of analysis and a special table that reduces the amount of energy needed to adjust your spine.
By using whole food supplements we can precisely support those areas and help your body to work at its best.
Nutrition Response Testing? is a system that allows us to zero in on what areas of your body are under stress and what is causing that stress.

What was it like before you came in to see us?
Bad!
It was hard getting through a couple hours of a day, let alone the entire day.
I felt extremely stressed, depressed and emotional.
We offer massage as an added service for our chiropractic patients.
While chiropractic care works to align the spine, massage works the soft tissues of the body and these two modalities are very complementary.
We have a massage therapist here M-W afternoons.
Call the office for more information.
My name is Kristine and I am a licensed and certified massage therapist that has been practicing massage for 16 years.
I specialize in deep tissue work with an emphasis on injury recovery and prevention.
