At Firestone Chiropractic our #1 goal is to get our patients healthy fast. We want to diagnose the cause of your symptoms to give you the best response (less pain, better health). Wellness Care can be as simple as a chiropractic manipulation or as complex as life style modification/nutritional counciling. We treat people of all ages; from newborns a few minutes old to those well into their 90's.

The purpose of chiropractic care is to optimize health, whether it is to restore function after a car accident or relieve pressure created from poor at the desk at work. Because chiropractic treatments are primarily applied to the spinal region, many individuals incorrectly assume that chiropractors treat only back and neck pain. While it is true that it is an effective treatment for these, it isn't the only goal.

In fact we correct abnormal movement in other joints as well, such as hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, feet, ankles, knees and hips, and work with patients on life style modifications.

How long will it take before I start to see improvement in my health problems?
Your health and well being is our primary focus at the office and some patients will see benefits in as little as one treatment.
Most research supports timeline of improvement somewhere between 3-6 visits, depending on severity of your symptoms.
Progress is always the key and we will focus on that by doing regular re-exams and pain scale questioning.
The next goal is to keep you improving on a consistent basis.
Sometimes a 2-3% improvement in 2 months could be the best that we can hope for but if you always improve 2-3% every two months for the next 2-3 years, where will you be?
At Firestone Chiropractic we offer a variety of techniques from traditional straight forward chiropractic Diversified, Gonstead, SOT to instrument adjusting using the Activator.
Dr. Kelley is trained in multiple techniques and always tailors each adjustment to what best fits the patient's needs.
Although most adjustments look similar, each one is adapted to the patient and injury.

Today's typical care involves immediate treatment with manipulation, physical therapy, and exercises.
Treatment and prognosis are based upon the kind of tissue involved and the mechanism of pain.
Many cases, including disc, muscle spasm, or simple joint fixation, respond well to care.
A conservative approach is vital to healing and preventing on-going back pain.
Everybody has been troubled with neck pain and headaches at one time or another.
Whiplash is one of the most common and well known injuries from a car accident.
This occurs when the force of the accident 'whips' the head violently from one direction to another beyond normal limits, resulting in overstretching of muscles, tendons and ligaments that support the spine.
The soft, cushioning discs that occupy the space between the spinal bones can herniate or rupture.
Symptoms may take hours, days or weeks to appear.
Whiplash may not be a minor injury, even though damage to your car may be minimal, whiplash may have caused spinal damage.
Roughly 50-72% of pregnant women develop low back pain (LBP) and/or pelvic pain at some time during their pregnancy, often worse at late stages due to the baby's head pressing down on a woman's back, legs, and buttocks, irritating her sciatic nerve.
For those who already suffer from lower-back pain, the problem can become even worse with pregnancy.
Pregnancy-related low back pain (PLBP) can be a highly debilitating syndrome that accounts for the most common cause of sick leave for pregnant women.
