Dr. Darcey planned on becoming a veterinarian and declared a pre-med major in college.
She was on the equestrian team and had a horse go lame.
The best veterinarians in the area provided nerve blocks, cortisone injections and more, but nothing helped.
Finally, a chiropractor adjusted the horse, and the animal was sound again.
That was Dr. Darcey's introduction to chiropractic.
A year later, a riding accident led to a significant back injury.
This injury was Dr. Darcey's first opportunity to get help from a chiropractor.
