Aspen Chiropractic and Wellness was established in 2007 by Dr. Shane and Letitia McCall. The goal was to create a wellness center with patient's overall health as the main focus. We believe that good health should incorporate more than just one type of treatment. Our multi-disciplinary approach allows our chiropractic and medical staff to work together to help you achieve the results you want and deserve.
Dr. McCall graduated from the University of Arizona in 1997 and then from Texas Chiropractic College in 2002. After receiving his license in Arizona in 2002 he began working on his dream of building a wellness clinic. Today that dream is Aspen Chiropractic and Wellness. The goal was to improve overall patient health by becoming health partners with the patients and offering different solutions to health issues.
Today, Dr. McCall and his staff are proud to offer Chiropractic, Medical, and Physiotherapy to their patients. Dr. McCall is a "homer" when it comes to sports and he is a fan of the Arizona Cardinals, Suns, and D-backs.

After filling out your paperwork, Dr. McCall will do an initial consultation and evaluation.
It's important to inform him about your health history including surgeries, accidents, medication, and diseases and/or conditions.
After the initial evaluation, he will determine whether or not you need muscle therapy before your adjustment.
Inflammation, spasms, and muscle tension can make a simple adjustment difficult, so if these are present, he will decide on the best therapy to decrease these symptoms.

A trigger point injection is an injection into a painful area of the muscle.
Normal muscles tighten and relax as you use them.
They can be very painful.
An injection into the muscle can help it relax and relieve the pain.
Patients most often find the best results when they do a series of injections, usually 4-10 days apart.
Trigger points can cause spasms or pain in a muscle, or cause "referred pain" in another part of the body.
The pain can affect posture, spinal and joint alignment, range of motion and muscle strength.

Those symptoms are a blood chemistry issue.
All of your hormones work together to make you.
You.
When one of them is out of whack it affects the rest of them.
And suddenly you know that how you're feeling isn't really the person you want to be but you don't know where to start.
We say start with your blood.
Blood is the truth serum that doesn't lie.
Carli Walter our P.A. is trained in and specializes with working with your body chemistry.
She will have an initial exam with you to go over your symptoms and how you're feeling.
