At Sasso Family Chiropractic Center, the husband/wife partnership of Dr. Daria Messina and Dr. Joe Sasso has been serving Toms River and its surrounding communities since 1984.

A 1987 graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic, Dr. Messina was the recipient of the B.J. Palmer Clinical Excellence Award. In 1990, she was honored as the Sherman College Chiropractic Career Advisor of the Year (along with Dr. Sasso) for her efforts in establishing a pre-chiropractic curriculum at Ocean County College, Toms River, NJ.
She is a member of the Garden State Chiropractic Society (GSCS), a state organization in New Jersey. Dr. Messina is the first woman to serve as president of the GSCS since its inception.
