Services
Spine and Whiplash Center has been proudly serving Longview and surrounding areas for over 30 years.
Since our beginning in 1988, our mission has been acknowledging pain, meeting our patients where they are, and inspiring lifelong health.
Originally opened by Dr. Lewis as Community Chiropractic Clinic, our chiropractic office was renamed to better support victims of crash-related injuries.
While we offer our services to people of all ages, activity levels, and experiences, we strongly believe in proper rehabilitation for those who have suffered auto accident injuries.
Dr. Lewis has always had an interest in the human body.
Prior to recognizing his passion for chiropractic care, he worked with a naturopath that promoted manipulation as well as other unique therapies.
It was during this time that he grew more and more interested in the power of spinal adjustments.
Before Dr. Coulombe discovered his passion for chiropractic, he worked as an analytical chemist for nearly four years.
Living an active life of working out and participating in sports, he realized he wanted to change direction and use his scientific background to help others recover and live their lives to the fullest.
The leading chiropractic group of Longview, Washington, Spine and Whiplash Center is dedicated to offering patients a customized chiropractic experience.
Although they use a variety of adjusting techniques and instruments, Dr. Lewis and Dr. Coulombe utilize the Impulse Adjusting Instrument as well as Diversified Technique.
The Impulse Adjusting Instrument is much gentler than many traditional adjusting techniques.
This low-force tool is better able to pinpoint specific injury sites and maintain the normal biomechanical motion of the spine as it begins the healing process.
In just a fraction of a second, a car accident occurs, and in just a fraction of a second, your world is turned upside down by unforeseen injury.
If this sounds like something you have encountered, you have come to the right place.
Spine and Whiplash Center is home to chiropractors that are trained specifically in your recovery.
Dr. Lewis and Dr. Coulombe are on your side, ready to help you fight for full recovery.
Contrary to popular belief, muscle is very rarely involved in crash-induced injuries.
Spine and Whiplash Center is committed to providing patients a comfortable experience with long-lasting results.
Your first visit will consist of the completion of initial paperwork, an in-depth discussion of your health history, and a physical examination to determine a specific care plan just for you.
If you are seeing us for an auto accident injury, it is helpful to bring the accident report, insurance claim, and anything else that will allow us to be as thorough as possible.
While your first visit can be expected to last up to an hour, your second visit will be much shorter in duration.
