At Great Day Chiropractic, our philosophy is simple: We aim to get you feeling better and back to the activities you enjoy with the fewest possible visits. We teach you the skills needed to continue self-care at home and help prevent your condition from returning. On your first visit, we will determine whether or not chiropractic is right for you.

If so, we will design a plan tailored to your needs with specific treatments and measurable goals. If we find that you are not a candidate for chiropractic care, we will refer you to the appropriate specialist to get you the help you need. We proudly serve Leawood, Prairie Village, Overland Park, and Kansas City! If you are suffering from pain or discomfort caused by an injury or other conditions, we want to help you develop a plan to eliminate your pain and improve your health.

Let's get started!. Whether you're suffering from neck pain, back pain, migraine headaches, sciatica, injuries from an auto accident, or other condition, we work with you to develop a plan that aims to treat the cause and restore your body to its best health.

We aim to get you feeling better and back to the activities you enjoy with the fewest possible visits.
We teach you the skills needed to continue self-care at home and help prevent your condition from returning.
On your first visit, we will determine whether or not chiropractic is right for you.
Whether you're suffering from neck pain, back pain, migraine headaches, sciatica, injuries from an auto accident, or other condition, we work with you to develop a plan that aims to treat the cause and restore your body to its best health.
Chiropractic is a safe and natural approach to health care that focuses on restoring proper motion to joints that become fixated or "stuck" due to injury or other dysfunction.
By gently manipulating (called adjusting) joints of the spine and extremities (wrists, elbows, knees, etc), the chiropractor is able to restore normal joint movement and increase the joint's range of motion, thereby relaxing muscles and relieving pain.
Where applicable, we may also treat your condition with Ultrasound, Electrical Muscle Stimulation, Active Stretching, Head Weighting, Cervical or Lumbar traction, Intersegmental Traction, and Neuromuscular Training.
Today's approach to healthcare is one of treating symptoms, not the cause.
The remedy often includes surgery and/or drugs whose side effects can be worse than the disease.
The problem with this approach is that drugs and surgery are the most aggressive remedies available and many common aches and pains can be addressed with much less invasive therapies.
Pharmaceutical companies spend well over a billion dollars annually on marketing to consumers.
No doubt you've seen the ads on TV with a cute elephant or other cartoon character pitching the latest wonder drug.
An exam will be performed on your first visit and the doctor will discuss the findings with you.
X-rays may or may not be taken depending on the nature of your complaint and your health history.
This will be divided into two phases of care.
Phase I is designed to maximize pain relief and will include in-office therapies and specific home stretches to help with your rehabilitation.
Once your condition has improved, you'll begin Phase II of care.
In most cases, you'll visit our office less frequently and you will transition from a home stretching program to a home strengthening and prevention program.
