Dr. Alvarez, Dr. Roberts have over 55 years combined experience serving patients in the Bakersfield area. Our mission is to find and correct the source of your pain or disease and correct it so you can be healthy and pain free.

Chronic conditions such as lower back and neck pain, sciatica, arthritis, headaches, even digestive disturbances do more than keep you in pain. They rob you of life's simple pleasures. The care that you receive is designed for you, as an individual. We work in a very relaxed atmosphere, striving to make you feel comfortable and part of the Downtown Wellness family.

Our practice accepts cash, check, and major credit cards.
We will be more than happy to submit your insurance forms for you, and we accept most major insurance providers.

Payment plans and schedules can be discussed upon request.
If you would like to cancel an appointment, we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice.
A fee may be charged for a no- show or late cancellation, and patients may be discharged from our practice for repeatedly missing scheduled appointments.

Make sure that you are getting up every 30 minutes to stretch, even if you just walk around for a few minutes.
Next, be sure you are seated correctly.

You also want your feet flat on the floor with your knees at a 90- degree angle.
