My name is Dr. Dan Bennett.
My wife Angie and I moved to North Carolina in 2011 where I worked as an associate Doctor of Chiropractic at a well established Chiropractic clinic outside of Charlotte.
I then opened a satellite clinic for a Chiropractic group based out of Greensboro, NC.
With our son Joshua getting closer to starting school we began looking for the ideal place to raise him and settle down.
I am originally from Bradford, PA a small rural town in Northwestern PA (home of Zippo lighters and Case knives).
We all know that we should stretch and exercise on a regular basis, but when we are in pain or have an injury, it can be difficult to do, or we may not know what exercises are good for us or which ones may cause more harm than good.
Stretching and exercise combined with Chiropractic manipulation is proven to be more effective and have longer lasting results.
We provide case specific stretches and exercises are for every patient on their initial visit that can be done at home with no equipment necessary.
Customer service is an aspect that is often overlooked in a physician's office.
At Bennett Chiropractic Clinic, we are here for you, the patient, not the other way around.
We will respect your schedule as we believe everyone's time is valuable.
Unnecessary wait times are uncommon and most people are seen at the time of their scheduled appointment.
Being open five days a week gives us more flexibility in creating a schedule that works for everyone's needs.
Living in Black Mountain close to the clinic also makes it possible for me to see patients outside of our normal business hours.
If you're trying to start exercising, my first two recommendations are to 1 - keep it simple and 2 - get a friend or loved one to join you in your efforts.
Someone to hold us accountable or offer a little company or competition is a great motivator.
You don't need to commit to a gym membership or buy a new bike either.
Get yourself in the habit of exercising first to find out what you really like and what you are capable of doing.
The easiest form of exercise almost anyone can do is, walking.
Walking just 12 minutes every other day can offer important health benefits, and progressing up to 30 minutes, five days per week will get you to the recommended 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity that is recommended per week.
04/20/17 - I have utilized the services of Chiropractors for 40 years and Dan Bennett is one of the best.
He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and takes whatever time required for the specific treatment.
We come to this area from Ontario for a month or so yearly and I am delighted to have found Dan for my Chiropractic needs and highly recommend him.
