Services
Dr. Evan Greller opened the Athens Atlas Chiropractic center in June of 1998.
Since that time, he has served the health care needs of over a thousand Athens area residents.
Dr. Greller received his B.S. in Biology from Indiana University in 1993, and went on to receive a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1996.
He has been certified by both the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners since 1996.
After three years of post-graduate work that involved over 400 hours of specialized training, and an eight month internship in Augusta, Georgia, he became a board certified Atlas Orthogonist in 1999.
An Atlas Orthogonist is a specialist in the field of chiropractic, who utilizes a light force method of adjusting the cervical spine.
This method is gentle, effective and safe.
The Atlas Orthogonist helps restore the alignment of the top bone in the spine using a specialized instrument table that can deliver a light force adjustment to the atlas at an exact angle.
When misaligned, the atlas, or first vertebrae, causes other areas of the spine to shift and compensate in order to support the weight of the head.
No. Athens Atlas Chiropractic Center uses the lightest, most effective adjustment instrument to correct imbalance, improper posture, tilting of the head and subluxation of the vertebrae.
Spinal care is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Affordable cash plans are available to all patients.
Insurance is filed as a courtesy to our patients and our considered Out of Network services.
Chiropractic can help with many conditions such as migraines, headaches, back pain, neck pain, muscle stiffness, muscle spasms, sinus trouble, hyperactivity and ADD, chronic ear infections and bedwetting.
