He attended Cocoa Beach High School, Brevard Community College, the University of Central Florida and Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Armstrong graduated from Brevard Community College and a few years after graduating in 1999 was awarded the BCC Distinguished Alumnus Award.
Dr. Armstrong then founded the BCC Alumni Association in 2000.
He remained on the BCC Foundation's Executive Committee as Alumni Association President until 2005.

Dr. Armstrong and his team have cared for and served active duty personnel at Patrick Air Force Base(the 45th Space Wing) from 2013-2018.
While serving at the 45th Space Wing, Dr. Armstrong was an American Red Cross Chiropractic Volunteer.
In addition to supporting the active duty personnel, Dr. Armstrong has supported veterans in need since 2002 through Operation Stand Down.
