Chiropractors have the same level of education as medical doctors, and are licensed as primary health care doctors.
The difference between chiropractors and medical doctors has to do with how they treat the human body.
Medical doctors rely on external chemical compounds to treat ailments such as medications and surgeries.
Chiropractors focus on structurally correcting the internal conditions of the human frame, which cause the ailments in the first place.
Because of this, chiropractic is highly effective in treating a wide range of conditions.

X-Ray Films: Following the examination Dr. Chrissy will decide whether or not she needs to take pictures of your spine (x-rays).
X-rays may not be necessary in all cases, and based on your exam results, Dr. Chrissy will decide whether or not the films will be necessary for you.
If x-rays are not necessary and no other red flags show up during the examination Dr. Chrissy will then adjust you.
This will conclude the visit for the first day.
For those patients who had x-rays taken, the report of findings and adjustment will take place at the next visit, after Dr. Chrissy has had a chance to review them.

Chiropractic continues to grow every year.
Last year more than 30 million people visited a Chiropractor for a variety of conditions.
There are currently about 60,000 Chiropractors and it is estimated that there will be over 100,000 by 2011.
Chiropractic is the third largest doctoral-level health care profession after medicine and dentistry.
It is also the largest Natural Health Care group.
In recent years people are going more and more to Doctors of Chiropractic.
This is due in large part because of its success in the treatment of so many different conditions without the use of drugs or surgery.
