Services
Our mission at Green Jay Sports Medicine is simply to serve you.
We provide excellent chiropractic care to help our patients reach and exceed their health goals.
We assess the patient as a whole.
We want to address the main concern, but also lead you into a lifestyle of being pain free.
We do all of this by offering an evidence-based approach to chiropractic care by utilizing chiropractic manipulation, soft-tissue techniques, therapeutic rehabilitation, and a variety of chiropractic services to help achieve your health goals.
Chiropractic adjustments remove joint restrictions increasing range of motion and reducing back pain, neck pain and other joint pains.
Additionally, chiropractic manipulation has been shown to relax the muscles surrounding that joint.
Proven safe and effective, a chiropractic adjustment is the best treatment for certain types of joint pain.
An adjustment is a precise quick thrust movement applied to a joint which restores normal joint motion.
The McKenzie Method is an overall program of assessment, treatment and prevention strategies (including exercise) developed in the 1960's by Robin McKenzie, a physical therapist in New Zealand.
We want to see all our patients attain and maintain a level of wellness care.
This is when your body is fully healed and only needing maintenance adjustments.
It is still recommended to come in for periodic adjustments to keep things running smoothly.
This requires a quick visit 1-4 times per month based on your lifestyle and goals.
Since back pain is the leading cause of disability worldwide, it is vital to know how to prevent the cause of back pain.
By maintaining a healthy diet and weight, remaining active and avoiding prolonged inactivity or bed rest are all important ways to avoid back pain.
