ART is the gold standard in the treatment of soft tissue injuries.
The technique combines engineering, anatomy, bio-mechanics, and chiropractic.
The technique was developed as a way to quickly and easily treat most soft tissue disorders and reduce pain.
Soft tissues disorders are injuries to the muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, joints, and fascia.
Over time we see that elite athletes receiving ART are able to get back to peak performance quickly.
Massage is a form of treatment for muscles, tendons, ligaments, lymphatic tissue.
The goal of a massage therapist or doctor is/are to reduce pain, inflammation, improve blood flow, and improve coordination.
There are many types of massage therapy.
Therapists and doctors are able to specialize in techniques with both their hands and in some cases tools.
The purpose of a good physical therapy or rehabilitation program is one that not only removes pain or corrects a problem but improves overall function.
We strive at providing the best individualized rehabilitative and functional improvement programs.
Each program will be based on your results, your goals, and your progress.
A Migraine is a type of headache that comes and goes.
They can last anywhere from 12-72 hours.
They can build up over about 4 hours.
Eventually it will feel like a single side of the head is pulsing or throbbing.
Rarely will a migraine always affect the exact same spot or side of a persons head.
Each individual headache will rarely shift from one side to the other once started though.
This can be accompanied by vomiting and/or nausea.
Many times, it will be preceded by an aura.
