At Warwick Family Chiropractic, we aim to help each and every individual seeking physical well-being and guidance through the highest quality of chiropractic adjustments, patient education and lifestyle modification, as well as to raise greater public awareness of chiropractic care within the community. In short, we are working towards a happier, healthier and better feeling you.

Chiropractic can be useful for much, much more than just a quick neck or lower back "crack". In fact, did you know the audible "crack" you may hear is actually just gas being released from locked up joints moving? One of the keys to preventing future injuries is keeping your body moving in a healthy, routine fashion. This means actively keeping muscles and joints moving freely and in their full ranges of motion.

When a problem does occur, however, such as a sprain/strain injury or a pinched nerve, or even an acute injury from sports or a motor vehicle accident, chiropractic treatment can be helpful in restoring proper movement and function to the areas of injury.
Services
Along with the standard adjustments many people are familiar with, WFC also offers flexion-distraction technique, which is a much less invasive form of lower back manipulation.
For certain injuries and conditions, it may be more sensible to treat with the gentle movement of flexion-distraction, which opens up individual segments of the lumbar spine and allows for the release of pressure that may be causing sciatic pain or low back discomfort.
With Flexion-distraction, typically there is no "cracking" and minimal pain and discomfort, so the patient can relax, and allow the up and down and side to side movements of the table provide palliative relief.
Dr. Erik is a lifelong chiropractic patient.
He first started getting adjusted as an infant and has always placed high value in the saying "movement is life".
He works hard to not only apply this saying to his own life, but also to convey this message to each one of his patients so that they, too, are able to apply better movement toward their own lives and remain well adjusted.
Dr. Erik is a Warwick native, living in Warwick up to the time he went to college.
After completing his undergraduate degree at SUNY College at Cortland, Dr. Erik went to New York Chiropractic College in beautiful Seneca Falls, NY for his Doctorate in Chiropractic.

Recently I had a patient ask me why his low back bothered him after using a push mower to mow the lawn.
