What is ART and how can it help me?
ART - Active Release Techniques - is an advanced system of diagnosis and manual treatment for soft tissue disorders resulting from Cumulative Trauma Disorders (CTD), Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI), postural strain, sports injuries and general wear and tear.
ART is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue system that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.
Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, rotator cuff syndrome, golfer's and tennis elbow, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, tendonopathies, epicondylitis, mechanical low back pain, and most sports injuries are some of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly, and most often permanently, with ART.
The Kinesio Taping Method has taken the Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine world by storm.
This amazing taping method was developed by Dr. Kenzo Kase over 25 years ago in Japan.
Kinesio Taping has quickly become the gold, or should we say "platinum" standard, for therapeutic rehabilitative taping.
The proprietary method of taping uses a uniquely designed and patented tape for treatment of muscular disorders and lymphedema reduction.
The Kinesio Taping Method involves taping over and around muscles in order to assist and give support or to prevent over-contraction.
What is Low-Level Laser Therapy?
Low-Level Laser Therapy or LLLT is a form of photo therapy which involves the application of low power monochromatic and coherent light to injuries and lesions to stimulate healing.
LLLT is used to increase the speed, quality and tensile strength of tissue repair, resolve inflammation, and give pain relief.
What are some clinical uses of LLLT?
There are a number of clinical uses of LLLT, such as those in medical, dental, podiatric, chiropractic, osteopathic, and physical therapy.
The art of Chiropractic is a branch of healing, which focuses on human health and processes of disease.
That being said, Doctors of Chiropractic regard people as integrated beings and so in their practice, they pay particular mind to physiological and biochemical aspects of this being, including structural, spinal, musculoskeletal, neurological, vascular, nutritional, emotional and environmental.
With careful analysis of the combination of all of those aspects, Chiropractors can help individuals manage their pain and in turn, have a greater positive effect on their overall health.
