If you have been involved in a car accident, whiplash and back injuries need to be taken very seriously.
Florida law requires you to seek attention within the first 2 weeks or you lose your insurance benefits.
Because symptoms of a whiplash injury can take weeks or months to manifest, it is easy to be fooled into thinking that you are not as injured as you really are.
Too often people don't seek treatment following a car accident because they don't feel hurt.
While cuts, scrapes and broken bones are easy to detect, auto accidents also cause subtle spinal and nerve damage, which manifest later through headaches, limited mobility and lower back pain.
Auto accidents are known to cause a variety of injuries that may not be readily apparent directly after the collision.
These injuries can include sprains and strains, herniated discs and whiplash.
The good news is that Dr. Cathy Moutsopoulos provides auto accident injury treatments for individuals who have recently or not so recently been in a collision.
When you are in a car accident, your body ricochets between the seatbelt and seat, which can cause whiplash.
If you have your hands on the steering wheel or stick-shift, your wrist may experience sprains and strains, and your knees may impact the dash, causing bruising and injuries to the knees.
Spinal problems can make life miserable in more ways than one.
Worse than just a pain in the neck, an unhealthy spine can greatly diminish your quality of life.
Fortunately, corrective treatment helps restore function at Beachside Chiropractic.
Corrective Treatment is the segment of chiropractic medicine that addresses abnormalities in the spine.
Because your spine is vital to how your body functions and operates, a healthy spine is imperative.
Through gentle manipulation, exercises, massage, and more, Dr. Cathy Moutsopoulos can adjust and repair issues that negatively impact your spinal health.
