Regular Chiropractic care is not only designed to correct issues that cause pain and discomfort, it is also an important foundational element when it comes to your overall health. There is no question your body is going through significant changes during your pregnancy. Regular Chiropractic adjustments can help relieve lower back pain & allow you to sleep more soundly at night.

We are here to support you and look forward to working with you throughout your pregnancy. A child or a teenager's spine can be dislocated or misaligned without them being aware. The misalignment or subluxations can occur without any symptoms or pain.
Services
Your spine is made up of 24 bones that protect the spinal cord.
The spinal cord branches out between each vertebra to serve as a pathway that allows communication between the brain and the body.
When any part of the spine moves 'out of place' or becomes 'misaligned' (known as subluxation), the nerves become compressed causing various symptoms such as back pain, or numbness, depending on which part of the vertebra is affected.
Chiropractic care promotes proper alignment of the spine and other musculoskeletal parts, which optimizes the communication between the brain and various parts of the body.
Pregnancy can cause many uncomfortable movements in the spine and joints.
Some of the typical chiropractic adjustments include a focus on the lumbar spine and the sacroiliac joint.
This helps to shift the vertebrae back into alignment and can help to reduce or relieve lower back pain and also relieve pressure on the sciatic nerve, helping patients sleep better at night.
Swelling and pain in the knees, ankles and feet can also be addressed with adjustments.
Chiropractic will definitely help make it easier for a woman to deal with the physical changes that occur with pregnancy, particularly during the second and third trimesters.
