Dr. Urban is proficient in the "Gonstead" technique; a technique used to skillfully analyze and specifically adjust the spine.
Dr. Urban takes great pride in delivering a "specific" spinal adjustment to his clients. His approach does NOT treat everyone with the same twisting of the neck and lower back from both the right and left and the middle back from top to bottom. This approach could potentially harm individuals with an inappropriate impact on the joints of the spinal column that can result in "neurological insult".
Dr. Urban prefers to access each of his clients individually so to skillfully perform an appropriate "specific" spinal adjustment with the least amount of force that is carefully delivered to adequately address his client's structural and neurological needs.

He really studies your x-ray to determine how to proceed in adjusting what needs correcting.

The first is using the "Tytron Thermography".
This instrument records temperature readings on both sides of the spine.
Dr Urban is looking for asymmetries that show up as specific patterns along the spine demonstrating nerve irritation.
The second instrument is called a "Nervoscope".
The nervoscope detects temperature changes as well but now pinpoints the particular area/areas that likely indicate where the nerve is being irritated.
