Born in Czechoslovakia, Dr. Fischer came to the United States when he was 8.
He found out that his Uncle Rudy was a chiropractor.
When Dr. Fischer was a high school basketball player, he got hurt and lost his coordination.
Initially, he went to the family doctor and neurologist.
After being told they couldn't find anything wrong, his Uncle Rudy encouraged him to come to his office for chiropractic care.
Dr. Fischer's uncle gave him three adjustments in one week and Dr. Fischer returned to normal.
He found out that his Uncle Rudy was a chiropractor.

Dr. Steve earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College and is a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors and the New York State Chiropractic Association, in which he previously served as an elected district officer.
