Not wanting to leave the Snake River Valley he didn't have to travel far in order to attend BYU-Idaho where he majored in Exercise Physiology.
At the completion of his Bachelor's degree, Dr. Calaway, his wife, and their 2 children set out for the Bay Area of California where he not only graduated with top honors (Summa Cum Laude), but also added 2 more children to their family along the way.
During his time in school, he became fascinated with the different body systems and how they are all intertwined through the nervous system.
