Services
I grew up in the mountains of Park City, Utah.
I always wanted to be a chiropractor; my mother even had pictures of me adjusting my dolls when I was three years old.
Chiropractic has always been an important part of my life.
Growing up with chiropractic care instilled the importance of being adjusted, being active, and having good nutrition and how these things keep you healthy and able to enjoy life.
I completed my pre-med coursework at Brigham Young University.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Human Biology at Logan College of Chiropractic, and continued on to earn my Doctorate, Graduating Cum Laude in 2009.
Chiropractic is a drug free, holistic approach to health and well being.
Patient health is dependent upon finding the root cause of their problems rather than covering symptoms.
The chiropractic adjustment is aimed at removing restrictions, or subluxations from the spine, or any other joint, to ensure proper movement.
When joints can move freely there will be no muscle imbalances or nerve irritation which can cause pain and sickness.
Each joint has billions of nerve endings which constantly send the brain information.
Acupuncture has been around for thousands of years, so although the concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine sound foreign it has withstood the test of time.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine the focus is on the energy or Qi that flows through the meridians (little channels) along the body.
When the Qi gets stuck, slowed down, or overflowing we start to get symptoms.
Qi gets out of balance due to emotions, trauma, dietary reasons, and stress.
Acupuncture works to balance the Qi for optimal health.
Good nutrition is an important part of the holistic approach to health and well being.
The saying you are what you eat hits it right on the nose.
If we don't give our bodies the healthy building blocks it needs to repair and more importantly, if our digestive system is too damaged to get the building blocks from what we eat, we will never be able to be truly healthy.
Looking at a mulititude of aspects including symptoms, physical signs, stress points, and more we can pinpoint some underlying nutritional problems and come up with a plan to fix it.
