I would like to thank Dr. Richey for the great service and care he has provided both myself and my son. Thanks to Dr. Richey I am now considered the fun grammie! Without the constant pain that I used to experience, I am able to enjoy my life and family so much more. I have three playful grandchildren and can now keep up with them. I am no longer "stuck in bed" for three days at a time in pain.

Before seeing Dr. Richey I had been dealing with long-term, chronic back pain. Having tried living on pain-medications and 3 rounds of steroid shots in my back, all with very little relief, my doctor suggested chiropractic help. Since receiving treatment from Dr. Richey I have seen improvement in my physical health, stamina and overall mental outlook.

Back pain and injuries are definitely different for everyone and Dr. Richey takes his time treating each patient individually. His care and expertise, along with his great sense of humor, make me very comfortable and confident in recommending him to others in need of chiropractic care.

The spinal column encases the nervous system and is responsible for its protection.
The body's innate recuperative powers are affected by and integrated through the nervous system, correcting spinal abnormalities which irritate the nervous system and can lead to a number of favorable results in patients suffering from various, seemingly non-spinal health conditions.

Dr. Michael Richey, D.C. has been a resident of the Thousand Oaks area since 1981.
After years as a martial arts instructor and private trainer focusing on function and proper posture, he began experiencing back pain and movement issues.
When he was told that he had a 10 mm disc bulge that surgery would fix, he elected to have the surgery - only to experience foot drop, leg numbness, and, two years later, the inability to walk.
