Dr. Allen was born in Pasadena, California and raised in Simi Valley, California. He moved to Colleyville during his Junior year in High School and graduated from Grapevine High School in 1988. While in high school, Dr. Allen was involved in the arts, focusing on musical performance and participated in band, orchestra and many recreational ensembles.
Dr. Allen then attended Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah pursuing a degree in music. In addition to providing excellent chiropractic care, Dr. Allen has had further studies in the field of Functional Medicine, receiving his Masters of Science from The University of Western States. Functional Medicine is the field of treating the body as a whole; functionally, nutritionally, and spiritually, to attain the highest level of healing.
Dr. Allen also has been trained by the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture to offer help for a variety of conditions. Adding extensive experience in myofascial release, massage therapy, nutrition, and in treating children, Dr. Allen provides the most comprehensive care to help his patients and their families in all aspects of their recovery and maintenance of proper function.
