Starting care at our office is simple. You just give us a call and set up an appointment. If you have insurance with chiropractic benefits (most insurances includes some sort of chiropractic coverage) we will ask you for your insurance information over the phone and will verify your benefits for you so that you have that information ready for your initial visit.
We can sometimes provide a same-day appointment, in which case we will do our best to get details about your benefits before your appointment, but you are encouraged to call the number on the back of your card or check your Coverage Benefits booklet to see the details of your coverage. We are Preferred Providers (in-network) for many insurance companies, such as BlueCross BlueShield/CareFirst, UnitedHealthCare, and Aetna.
We accept and provide claim forms for Cigna and many other insurance companies whom we choose not to be In-Network with, and you can then submit them on your own. Feel free to call us and ask if you aren't sure.

Hi, my name is Robert Romano.
I'm one of the chiropractors here at Park Bench Chiropractic.
I was born in Germany because both of my parents were in the US Army.
I grew up on Long Island, attended college in Albany, and then chiropractic school in Atlanta.
My wife and I, and our two kids, live here in beautiful Frederick.
Prior to attending chiropractic school I attended the State University of New York at Albany where I receieved a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
I also had the opportunity to work at numerous facilities including the Albany County Nursing Home, Port Jefferson Ferry Senior Living, and the NY State Capital District Psychiatric Center.

The best way to find a chiropractor is to ask a friend or family member about their experience with a chiropractor.
If you don't know anyone personally who has a good chiropractor they can recommend, then the next best thing is to read through reviews of the local chiropractors.
We're proud of the fact that we have good reviews!
We're also just fine with you coming in to ask us questions or just see what we're all about.
Feel free to call us today to set up an appointment or to set up a complimentary consultation.

Many people, especially women, can get pain from falling on the butt.
Other things can cause this pain, like snowboard falls or horseback riding.
It tends to hurt when a motion similar to a sit-up or crunch is performed, or when someone rocks on a chair.
The coccyx is the small bone at the bottom of the sacrum.
If you can think about where your anus is, then the coccyx is pretty much right there, maybe a few centimeters "north" of that spot.
When this bone is impacted, for example in a fall, it can be pushed forwards or sideways.

We really wish we could just diagnose you from over the Internet, but that's neither prudent nor possible.
What we can do is invite you to our office for a free consultation, or to come on in as a new patient and get examined and treated.
Stop sitting so much.
Yes, it may be part of your job to sit, but that doesn't mean you need to stay seated the whole time.
Get up and shake that tender butt!.
Do some stretches, for example your hamstrings or that piriformis muscle we just mentioned earlier.
Stretches probably won't fix things, but stretching will probably reduce the level of pain and bide you some time.

If you're like many other people, then you've experienced a nasty burning ache coming from inside your shoulder blade.
Usually this unpleasant sensation is located on the inside border of the scapula (the shoulder blade), and it's more-often-then-not going to be affecting your right shoulder more than the left.
This area has a lot of things going on.
There are a number of muscles which overlap at this place, including the trapezius ("the traps") and the rhomboids.
These muscles assist with shoulder movement and stability, and help provide a stable base for your arm to use.
