Services
Hello, my name is Dr. Jessica Nardone.
It is truly an honor and privilege to serve the members of this community on their quest toward reaching their ultimate health potential.
In order to understand Chiropractic and its importance to your family's health, I feel it is necessary that you know who I am, where I have come from, and the events that have shaped me into the person I am today.
Your trust in me is important as we embark on this journey together.
From a young age, I have felt compelled to serve others around me.
Chiropractic is based on the principles that your body is a self regulating and self healing organism that is powered by your nervous system.
When disturbances arise in your nervous system, called vertebral subluxations, your body is robbed of its vitality, while sickness and dis-ease is promoted.
The chiropractor removes the subluxation with a specific adjustment, thus, restoring the nervous system's potential to allow the body to heal and function at optimal levels.
Our bodies are constantly striving to achieve homeostasis - the physical state where we function optimally.
Then, you will be given a tour of the office and introduced to our staff to make you feel welcome and at ease.
Dr. Jessica will take your health history and perform a chiropractic exam.
You may or may not receive chiropractic care on your first visit.
This depends on what is found during your initial examination.
Your initial visit could take anywhere from 40 minutes to 1 hour, so please plan accordingly.
Did you know?
The very first organ formed in utero is the nervous system.
This makes sense since your nervous system is in charge of controlling and coordinating all functions of the body!
No, chiropractors do not directly treat diseases.
Furthermore, they really don't treat neck pain or back pain, either.
Chiropractors find the cause of decreased nervous system function as a result of improper aligment or biomechanics or the vertebra (back bones).
Once they locate it, they perform chiropractic adjustments in order to improve the function of your nerves.
Some patients find that with chiropractic adjustments their symptoms of pain or other dysfunctions of the body relieve or go away, but that is a result of improved body function and not from directly treating a disease.
